E-parliament System

In keeping abreast with the new technological trends, the County Assembly has transformed the Assembly into a digital County Assembly. This has greatly enhanced its legislative operations. The chambers is now fully automated with a paperless system which is a combination of a multimedia digital congress and an e-parliament system. The digital congress system has three components which include the voting system, the Microphone management and the user management while the e parliament comprises wireless tablets that are permanently fixed in the chamber, and the E-Parl Kenya Software.

All the proceedings have become more efficient and the members are in a position to conveniently access diverse and accurate information regarding the business being transacted in the house. Members of the Assembly are able to access all the necessary documentation from the tablets in real time.
