Nyandarua County Assembly Making Nyandarua Better
Hon. Georgina Wanjiru Chira is a County Member from Kanjuiri Ridge Ward.
She is the Vice Chairperson Public Administration and ICT Committee;
She is a member of Budget and Appropriations Committee; Education Gender Affairs, Culture and Social Services Committee; and Trade, Industrialization, and Enterprise Development Committee.
Before she joined the County Assembly, Hon. Georgina was a member of Maendeleo ya Wanawake in Olkalou Sub-county.
She was active in politics and development and was instrumental during the establishment of Plot 11 Primary School in Kanjuri Ridge.
Hon. Georgina went to
Engoshura Primary School and Bavuni Secondary school for her education.
She is married and a mother of five children.
