HON. HUSSEIN NDUNG’U KASSANA

Hon. Hussein Kassana is the MCA Magumu Ward serving his second consecutive term.

He is the Chairperson of the Committee on Legal Affairs, Labour and Intergovernmental Relations and Coordination.

He is also a member of: Members’ Welfare, Catering and Library; Lands, Physical Planning and Urban Development and Tourism, Cooperatives Development, Trade and Industrialization Committees.

In his first term he was Chairperson Lands, Housing and Urban Development Committee at Nyandarua County Assembly. He was also a Member of Public Administration and ICT Committee; Powers and Privileges’; Special Funds Account Committee; Water, Tourism, Environment and Natural Resources Committee and Liaison Committee.

Hon. Kassana is pursuing a Diploma in Public Relations from the University of Nairobi and holds a certificate in Community Health. He went to St. Christopher Schools for his Primary and Secondary School.

Before joining the County Assembly, Hon Hussein was in Landscaping ventures where he created jobs for many young people in his Ward.

He is married with three children- two boys and a daughter.
