Nyandarua County Assembly Making Nyandarua Better
Hon. Mary Wanjiku Kabiru is an assiduous, focused, committed, and enthusiastic leader. She is a first-time specially elected Member of the Nyandarua County Assembly.
She is the former chairperson of the Ol Kalou women empowerment Group. Indeed, Hon Mary is passionate about working for women and orphans and was a volunteer in the office of the women’s representative working with the less fortunate in society.
She is serving the people of Nyandarua as the Majority Chief Whip and a member of the following sectoral committees:
- House Business Committee
- Member’s Welfare, Catering, and Library
- Public Service, Administration and Devolution
- Education Children, Gender Affairs, Culture and Social Services
Hon. Kabiru holds a Diploma in Sales and Marketing and was the treasurer of Warembo na Uhuru, Nyandarua Chapter in 2017. She is an alumnus of Karima Girls High School.
She is a mother of two daughters and a grandmother of one grand child.
