Nyandarua County Assembly Making Nyandarua Better
Hon. Reuben Gitau alias Njamba is the sitting MCA for Shamata Ward serving his second consecutive term.
He is the Vice Chairperson of County Budget and Appropriations Committee. He is also a member of: Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries; Public works, Roads, Transport, Housing and Energy and Education, Children, Gender Affairs, Culture and Social Services.
In his first term, he was a member of Budget and Appropriations Committee; Water, Tourism, Environment and Natural Resources Committee; Health Services Committee and Legal Affairs, Labour, Intergovernmental Relations and Coordination.
He holds a Bachelor of Technology (Industrial Chemistry) from the Technical University of Kenya and a Diploma in Analytical Chemistry from the same university. He is a former student of Kaheho primary and secondary schools.
He is married and is a father of one child.
