Nyandarua County Assembly Making Nyandarua Better
HON. SAMUEL RIMUI KAIYANI
Hon. Rimui Kaiyani is the MCA for Githabai Ward and is the chairman for Youth Affairs, Sports and the Arts in Nyandarua County Assembly.
He is a member in the Budget and Appropriations Committee; Special Funds Account Committee; Transport, Energy and Public Works Committee; Legal Affairs, Labour, Intergovernmental Relations and Coordination Committee and Liaison Committee.
Hon. Kaiyani holds a BSc. Degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering from the University of Nairobi. He went to Narok High School and Sekerot Primary School.
He is also trained in Logistics Management, Logistics Systems and Procurement Procedures; Security and Safety management and is a Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist.
Before he joined the County Assembly, Hon. Kaiyani was the Director of Project Quality at Silfarm Agencies Limited.
He previously worked as a Shelter and NFI Program Manager, Area Coordinator and Logistics and Security Consultant at Catholic Relief Services in Northern Sudan (Darfur).
He has also worked with Tearfund- UK Northern Sudan Program, World Health Organization and Medecins Sans Frontieres (MSF) Belgium.
