He is also a music teacher and has founded Gaita Foundation that supports pupils from poor families attain education and youth to acquire employment.

Hon. Wangare Methu is the Reverend of the Remnant Ministries International Church in charge of Nyandarua Diocese.
Before joining the County Assembly, Hon. Methu was the area Chief for Kipipiri Location.
She previously worked as a Quality Controller at Homegrown Flamingo farm; Lab Technician at Miharati Secondary School and Lab Technician at the University of Nairobi Upper Kabete Campus in the department of Pharmacology and Technology.
Hon. Methu holds a Bachelor of Arts (Peace Studies& Conflict Resolution) from Mount Kenya University. She also holds a Diploma in Applied Biology from Murang’a University and another Diploma in Public Relations from Intercorrespondence Schools London (ICS).
She has also received training on HIV & AIDS counselling skills and Home-based care sensitization from the Office of the President HIV & AIDs control unit; and also Paralegal and AP matters at Administration Police Training College (APTC).
She is a former student of Kangui High School.
On recognition, Hon. Methu has received certificates of commendation twice from the Women Enterprise Fund for excellence in support of its mission. She has also received commendation from Kenya Primary School Heads Association for promoting education and fighting drugs and substance abuse in her location.

Before he joined the County Assembly, Hon Kieru was an Assistant Manager at Eastern Bypass Developers and is still a shareholder of the company to date. He was before then an architectural technician at the National Housing Corporation.
Hon. Kieru holds a Bachelor of Architectural Studies (BArch) from the Technical University of Kenya; Diploma in Technology (Architecture) and a Certificate in Computer Aided designs from the same university.

Hon Kariuki was serving as the MCA for Murungaru Ward for the second time having been re-elected in the 2017 general elections. He was the vice chairperson of CASB in the first Assembly.
He also served as the Leader of the Majority Party in the first Assembly and as the Chairman in the defunct Nyandarua County Council having been elected as a councillor for Murungaru Ward.
The Hon Member worked with the National Government between 1992 and 2000 as a surveying technician.
Hon. Kariuki holds a Bachelor’s degree in Community Development from Laikipia University and a Diploma in Land Surveying from Kenya Polytechnic. He went to Magumu Secondary School for his O levels and proceeded to Kanjuri High School for his A levels. Hon Kariuki is married with four children.

Hon. Githinji holds a Diploma in Community Development from Laikipia University and is pursuing a degree of the same from the same university. He also holds a Certificate in County Governance and Administration from Dedan Kimathi University.
He has endeared himself to the residents of Geta Ward through his efforts to promote their welfare. During his first five years in the County Assembly, nearly all dormant cooperative societies have been revived, Roads have been rehabilitated, direct marketing of farm produce has been promoted and health services have been improved. Water has also been supplied to homes and small scale irrigation has been started.
Moving forward, Hon .Githinji wants the newly drawn plan for Geta town to be implemented and the recently bought livestock yard will also be operationalized. He wants to focus more on dairy farming and youth and women empowerment.
Hon. Githinji is married with two children.

The Hon. Member has contributed much in rehabilitation of the roads network in his ward. He has also supported water projects, ensuring fair distribution of bursary and supporting development of churches.

Hon. Njane is a born again Christian. She is the first born in a family of 12 and she is married and a mother of three- a daughter and two sons.

Before he joined Nyandarua County Assembly as an MCA, Hon Ngamau was the manager of PanAfrican Schools for 20 years. He was also a prominent farmer in Gathanji Ward and served as a chairman of several cooperative societies. He has also been in the Board of Management of Passenga Secondary School and has been a lead elder of the Africa Inland Church.
The Hon. Member founded Midwest College which was the first to teach computer studies in Nyandarua and Laikipia Counties in 1993 and has been nurturing talents among the young people.
He takes pride to have mentored over 75 young couples- acting as bestman in weddings, negotiating in dowry ceremonies, mediating conflicts in families and restoring broken families.
Hon. Ngamau holds a Diploma in Human Resource Management from Kenya Institute of Management and is pursuing a Degree in Leadership and Governance from CMD college- a constituent college of Jaramogi Oginga Odinga University.
He went to Baharani and Chamuka Primary Schools before joining GG Rumuruti Secondary School and Koelel High School for his O levels and A levels respectively.

Before he joined the County Assembly, he was a consultant in Entrepreneurship and Business matters. He previously worked for Technoserve Company in Tanzania as a business advisor. He was also a businessman and consultant in Southern Sudan.
Other positions that he held was being the Managing Director of Davetech Interlink Limited and being the Vice Chairman of Mashariki Valley Housing Cooperative Society.
Hon. Maitai has also participated in mentorship programmes in Community Based Organizations, medical camps and has been in the forefront in matters pertaining to development of Central Ward.

She is a staunch Catholic and serves as the Assistant Chairlady for Catholic Women Association in Mulot Church in the Diocese of Ngong.

She is strong willed and ambitious and dreams of a society with a fully empowered woman. Her passion for girl-child empowerment motivated her to come up with Candles for Girls initiative to curb teenage pregnancies which is one of the major hindrances towards young girls exploiting their full potential.
Candles for Girls seeks to not only prevent teenage pregnancies but to also empower the teenage mothers through supporting them to go back to school or equipping them with skills like knitting, dress making, hair dressing etc.
Hon. Muhoho was born in South Kinangop, Nyandarua County and is the first born in a family of six.

She is the first born in a family of five and is a former student of St Joseph Primary School and Wanjohi Girls High School. She is married to Francis Mwangi and they have four children namely Judy, Winnie, Angel and Judy.

Hon. Githae is a former student of Amboni Secondary and Matindiri Primary Schools.
She is a gospel musician and the founder of Mwingi Musicians Association. She also founded Mwireri Women Group in Mwingi and has been a member of the Boards of Management of Tungutu Girls High School (Kitui) and Loreto High School Limuru.
Hon. Githae is also the chairlady of the Catholic Women Association and the treasurer of Mwingi Catholic Parish in Kitui Diocese.
She is married to Francis Githae and blessed with three children- Evelyn, Mercy and Kelvin.

Hon. Kariuki holds a Diploma in Sports Science from Laikipia University and is an alumnus of Silanga Primary and secondary schools.
Before joining the County Assembly as an MCA, he was the youth representative of Football Kenya Federation in the Central Rift branch. He was also a football player of AP Kipipiri Division One league.
Hon. Kariuki was also the organizing secretary of the Bodaboda Association of Kenya (BAK) and the Deputy Secretary General of Jubilee party in Nyandarua County. He was also the head coach of Passenga Secondary School football club that has been posting marvellous wins internationally.

Before she joined the County Assembly, Hon. Wanjiru was the Chairperson of Maendeleo ya Wanawake in Kinangop Sub county.
She also worked previously with Social Reform Center as a mobilizer where she was leading in the campaign to have youth around Mount Kenya to register as voters.
She also supported cooperative movement and assisted registered groups in her home area to access financial support from government.
Hon. Wanjiru went to Munyaka Primary School and Munyaka Secondary school for her education.
She is a mother of two girls.
