Deputy Clerk and Director of Legislative, Procedural & Committee Service
This Directorate is composed of two departments, namely:
- Legislative and Procedural department
- Committee Services department.
Committee Services Department
The department is headed by a Principal Clerk Assistant. It offers administrative service support to the members of the county Assembly in various select committees of the Assembly.
The functions of the department are among others-
• offering technical support to committees of the Assembly;
• providing procedural advice to committees of the Assembly;
• custodian of records of committees of the Assembly;
• provision of human resource to committees of the Assembly;
• liaising with county departments, entities and other institutions;
• ensuring public participation;
• coordination and supervision of select committees;
• platform for capacity building to members and secretariat to committees, and
• Guiding in the performance of administrative roles in Committees.
